TL;DR
Background
e-FemClinic is an online healthcare platform focused on women's holistic health, connecting patients with practitioners through digital appointments.
Problem
The existing platform had limited account functionality and lacked dedicated experiences for patients and practitioners.
Approach
I redesigned the platform by creating user flows, dashboards, and a scalable design system focused on usability and trust.
Outcome
The redesign transformed FemClinic into a role-based SaaS experience supporting appointment management for both patients and practitioners.
01
Problem
Existing Platform & Challenge
FemClinic was an existing online women’s healthcare platform with a basic account system. However, it was missing the structure needed to support a complete digital healthcare experience.
The goal was to transform it into a SaaS platform where patients and practitioners could manage appointments, profiles, and communication through dedicated experiences.
02
Process
Designing for Two User Groups
I started by understanding the needs of both patients and practitioners through UX research, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes. The goal was to create two connected but distinct experiences, ensuring each user could easily complete their tasks within the platform.
The design system established consistency across the product, creating reusable components that supported accessibility, responsiveness, and future scalability.

03
Solution
A Complete Healthcare Platform
The redesign transformed FemClinic from a simple website into a role-based healthcare SaaS platform designed around appointment management and user needs.
- • Patient dashboard for booking appointments, viewing history, managing profiles, and communicating with practitioners
- • Practitioner dashboard for availability, schedules, appointments, and patient management
- • Simplified booking experience designed for clarity and ease of use
- • Responsive interface focused on trust, accessibility, and women's healthcare needs

04
Reflection
HFrom Website to Digital Product
This project strengthened my experience designing complex healthcare products with multiple user roles and interconnected workflows.
Working across UX research, user flows, UI design, and design systems showed me how thoughtful design decisions can transform an existing platform into a scalable digital experience.
